| Offshoring Model : Outsource to Third Party
“Third party outsourcing” a relatively new occurrence is becoming one of the fastest growing forms of outsourcing. In this model a third party vendor makes it possible for the client to focus on his core business, while the vendor concentrates on improving the efficiency of the outsourced process.
One of the key advantages of working with a third-party vendor is the opportunity to delegate repetitive work to motivated people in developing countries who see these chores as their core competency and platform for advancement within the organization. The third-party vendor assumes the risk of forging business relationships in host countries allowing the client to focus on other development needs. Working with multiple customers, the vendor has the ability to develop best practices and migrate them across his organization to improve quality and reduce costs for customers.
Eupath helps clients enter into third-party outsourcing engagements by:
1. Creating a short list of initial vendors
2. Creating a comprehensive RFP
3. Evaluating and selecting vendors through objective evaluation process incorporating “street-level” information
4. Negotiating and finalizing detailed outsourcing contracts with the finalist(s).
Our experience has shown that an “integrated” approach to bridging the gap between clients needs (business partner) and the outsourcing partner (extended team) can greatly improve productivity and quality while mitigating risk and reducing cost due to miscommunication.
It is our intention to identify and improve our client’s specific competencies related to the dynamic nature of third-party outsourcing model.
